Annual Live Music Festival

The Brendon Park Live Music Festival is a one-day, family friendly, community event providing well deserving students with scholarships to continue their education beyond high school. These students are from the Brendon Park neighborhood, graduating from Lawrence, parochial, and/or Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS).

The event offers live performances by local and nationally known R&B, Jazz, Blues, and hip-hop artists. Local political and community leaders are encouraged to attend. The entire event is planned, organized, and staffed by Brendon Park residents which truly makes it a neighborhood generated opportunity to build a better quality of life for the northeast side community.

Music has shaped cultures and societies around the world. It has the power to alter one's mood, change perceptions, and inspire change. Brendon Park Music Festival was created to unite and deepen relationships within our northeast side community and give back to our youth.

The Brendon Park Music Festival saw an overwhelming interest in 2021. In 2022, the festival attracted more than 300 individuals and families. We anticipate up to 400 attendees for 2023. Showcase your support for music and the arts for positive change in our community. Partnering with us supports our grassroots effort, allow intimate access to 400+ neighbors to spread information, build community partnerships, and open doors to opportunities neighbors may not know existed. Our neighborhood has been widely recognized at the City level for doing good work.

We want to extend special thanks to all of our great sponsors for helping make this year possible and supporting Brendon Park Music Festival’s civic mission.
